alarming cost
Health care cost in the US is very alarming affecting families and sometimes forces them to file for bankruptcy. There is constant change in new technology and its updates, increase in insurance (premiums) and cost of outpatient care. The new machines and technology are very useful even though sometimes costly; they are used for prevention, diagnoses for diseases, for treatment, research and for cure. These machines used in the hospitals and clinics undergo the problem of wear and tear. It takes up on the health care cost for mostly maintenance and for the re-use of these machines. The cost of high insurance premium also gives rise to uninsured families in the US for example. It causes less doctor’s visits because they are not able to afford it. Sometimes would decrease the number of people who are able to receive prevention and early detection of certain diseases in tend increases the number of tests that need to be done after missing the early stages of some preventable diseases. There are some aspect of increasing cost in the US health system, such as bills processing and most of the administrative work. Instead of making all sort of documents for a particular patient and by also sending so much cash on papers, supplies, labor and some inventories. The health care industry must find a way to go paperless and recycle for example, Insurance companies must re-think on how to reduce premiums for most people who are able to afford insurance care, think more for the people than to make profit. New technology can be used by making affordable machines to serve the same purpose or even better. It right to put in place good policies to reduce the alarming increase in health care so that all will be able to afford and enjoy what it really means to have access to care.
